A little dog first appeared in my editorial cartoons in early 1998 and has been a regular ever since.

Unlike most cartoon characters, he really existed. His name was Romeo and he was a handsome golden retriever born on the 10th of November 1995. He died of cancer on the 23rd of December 2004, exactly 9 years after he was brought home as a christmas present for my three children. Sadly missed. His spirit lives on in cartoon form and will for many years to come.
