About Peter Lewis Born in Mungindi, Australia, and now resident in Newcastle, just north of Sydney. Graduated in Fine Arts in 1976 then worked as a designer, landscape painter, pizza cook, taxi driver, and even a (very amateur) ballet dancer. Became the political cartoonist for The Newcastle Herald in 1986 and began this series of fact based cartoons for the newspaper in 2003.
